Dangerous Game
A fantasy & romance novel written by ResonantCrimson (D. E. Smith). The story follows Ivo, a human boy with powers he can't begin to comprehend, and Cresil, the king of demons who turns against his kind to fight alongside mortals.

It's up to this unlikely duo to save Merron Nien from damnation. Yet Ivo doesn't expect to get a stupid, asinine crush on the king of devils. There's no time for romance during a war!

Will love blossom between human and demon, or will their story too be stained with blood?

Read on inkitt.

I think ResonantCrimson's writing speaks for itself, so I just wanted to say that the commission experience itself was absolutely amazing; completely professional, timely and upfront with any questions or issues so they could be quickly resolved. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a writing commission. I can't wait for my second comm!

Reviews
This... this is so perfect, I don't even have the words to describe how much I love this! The atmosphere and detail is far between than I could've imagined, it really captures the emotions of how the two of them are supposed to feel about it. Your writing skills are phenomenal, thank you so much!!

I've commissioned Resonant twice now, and I don't have a single regret omg. They've been incredibly patient in handling my text walls of information about what I want, and finished both the commissions and the edits I asked for quickly and without complaint! They were very kind the whole way through, as well, which means a lot to me (i'm just a shy lad in the world, y'know?). I can't wait to work with them again.

About the Author
Published author, wannabe novelist, slave to the written word. D. E. Smith (ResonantCrimson) may as well have been born with a pen in their hand, as storytelling is their ultimate love in life.

Residing in Canada, they've realized their dream of being published. Despite this major accomplishment, they continue to be a slave to storytelling. Nothing will stop them from writing and telling the stories that demand them to put pen to paper.

D. E. Smith's love of writing is obvious to those around them. It's rare not to see them typing away on their computer, writing the odd short story, the occasional poem, or a multiple-chaptered story that has them in a vice-grip.

In the end, they were born to write, and until the last breath leaves their lungs, that's exactly what they'll do.
