"in bloom" is an anthology created by and for the trans community on PEI. Featuring over thirty written pieces and more than ten artworks, it tells the stories of how the trans community is resilient in not just PEI, but all over the world.

D. E. Smith has two poems and one memoir featured in the anthology. Their poems are both righteous rage and euphoria, while their memoir is a love letter to their childhood self.
